Halloween costumes have become so expensive and they are mass produced so everyone at the party has on the same costume. Here are a few ideas for inexpensive Halloween costume ideas that will also keep you from looking like everyone else.
Lumberjack: Raid your own closet for this costume. All you need is a pair of boots, jeans, a flannel shirt and a beanie. Suspenders come in handy and finish off this costume nicely. If you don’t have any you can pick up a cheap pair at Walmart or Target.
Zoo Keeper: Do you have a pair of khaki cargo pants, boots and a khaki shirt? If so, you have yourself a costume. Be sure to wear your ‘Zoo Keeper’ badge. If you have a wide brimmed safari hat, that might put the perfect finishing touch on the costume.
Men in Black: Everyone has a black suit hanging in the back of their closet. Pull it out and find your darkest pair of shades and ta-da! You can re-live 1997 all over again. Put ear buds in and you are the Secret Service just be sure to whisper something into your watch every now-and-then.
Gingerbread Man: Specially for you red heads out there. Buy a few loaves of bread. Typically grocery store has some on sale that they need to sell quickly. Write ‘Ginger Bread Man’ on a piece of cardboard and tie it around your neck with the bread.
Sugar Momma/Daddy: This is handy for a snack throughout the evening. Take extra Halloween candy and tape, glue or pin it all over your shirt. Be careful not to eat it all before the night is over.
