Be Amazed at the Petrified Tree
The Petrified Tree is the oldest attraction in Disneyland. Its stump is estimated to be anywhere from 55 to 70 million years old and is ten-foot-tall. The tree’s story began in the summer of 1956 when Walt purchased one of the petrified trees for $1,650 but his wife was not impressed about it and eventually donated it to Disneyland.
