Christmas isn’t complete without a few annual traditions. Each year Newport Beach hosts its annual Christmas boat parade bringing even more holiday joy to our area. It has become a Christmas tradition for many locals and we invite you to make it a tradition in your holiday celebrations.
The parade continues over the course of several nights giving you ample opportunity to head over to Bay Island Channel for a boat show like you have never seen before. With various types of boats of all shapes and sizes decked out with as many lights as they will hold, the parade will surely bring a smile to your face and certainly get you into the holiday spirit. Wrapping around the coast line of the inlet, the parade begins at 6:30 pm and lasts until 9:00 pm. Be sure to arrive early to claim your viewing spot. This event is very popular and draws a big crowd so the later you arrive the less you have a chance of a prime viewing position. Bring your lawn chairs, blankets and hot cocoa and relax with a little holiday music.
