We all want the luck of the Irish and to be kissed and this is just the weekend for it. St. Patrick’s Day weekend is upon us and we have some celebrations to help you to get into the spirit.
The Orange County Market Place is hosting their 8th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Celebration and Green Festival on Sunday, March 16 from 10am to 4pm. With a double meaning to ‘green celebration’ this festival not only leaves you feeling a little Irish, but it puts a spotlight on eco-friendly living. Activities range from the Haute Trash Fashion Show sporting the best of fashion made from none other than trash to face painting to a scavenger hunt. Enjoy entertainment from Abbit O’Blarney the Trash Talking Leprechaun, Irish dance performances and live music. Gourmet food trucks will be serving green and Irish dishes on their menus and you can even grab a green mint ice cream cone from the Cone Corner. Admission is FREE with a donation of your old pair of eye glasses. Everything thing here is fun with a cause so bring the whole family for a day of fun celebration and activities. More details can be found at http://www.ocmarketplace.com/contents/Entertainment.aspx along with a coupon for your free ice cream cone.
