Cookies and pies and cakes, oh my! By far, one of the best parts of the holidays is all those heavenly desserts—and that’s exactly what the Heavenly Holiday Desserts festival brings to Anaheim by the pie crust-full! From November 22 through November 23, you can learn baking techniques and try the most decadent of desserts featuring seasonal flavors. Chocolate, pumpkin, peppermint, cloves, cinnamon, and more come together thanks to the Cooking Schools of America located at 3309 Hyland Avenue in Costa Mesa.
The Chef Instructor is on hand to walk you through making your own sinfully good treats. From homemade ganache to cupcakes to die for, all the secrets for a wicked dessert will be revealed. Of course, there’s plenty of time for tasting from the experts, too. Indulge in chocolate peppermint bars, pumpkin gingerbread cupcakes, and brandied pear galette.

For just $65, you’ll learn how to make the flakiest of pie crusts, and sample some of the most extraordinary pies imaginable. It’s the ultimate way to kick off Thanksgiving week, and you’re sure to get a few ideas for your own holiday gathering.
