The Indiana Jones Adventure: Temple of the Forbidden Eye is an exciting ride in Adventureland at Disneyland Park in Anaheim, California. Of course, someone always does, and that’s when the real adventure begins.
Indiana Jones and his friend Sallah start giving tours of the temple, but some people don’t make it back. Now, Indy is missing too. So, guests join a rescue mission that quickly turns into a thrilling escape. Everyone climbs into a jeep-like vehicle that bumps and twists as it races through the cursed temple. The ride is different every time, thanks to a computer that changes the path you take. That means no two trips are exactly alike.
Before the ride even starts, the line is part of the fun. Guests walk through dark caves, dig sites, and old hallways filled with carvings and surprises. You can even use a special card or a phone app to read the made-up language on the walls. Outside the temple, fans might spot the real movie truck from Raiders of the Lost Ark and other cool items from the Indiana Jones movies.
The ride begins in a room called the Chamber of Destiny, where Mara chooses a gift. But someone always looks into Mara’s eyes, and suddenly, the adventure takes a scary turn. You’ll pass through spooky rooms filled with lava, bugs, skeletons, snakes, and even a giant rolling boulder. Indiana Jones shows up along the way to help you escape just in time.
The ride uses special vehicles that bounce and tilt to make you feel like you’re driving through the temple. There are also numerous amazing effects, including moving robots, sounds, lights, and even simulated fire and smoke. The whole thing feels just like a real Indiana Jones movie.
