All that glitters is gold (and diamonds, and rubies and more!), at least when you’re at the International Gem and Jewelry Show at the Pasadena Convention Center! Offering the biggest, most impressive selection of jewelry from manufacturers and designers directly, this is where you’ll find that collector piece and heirloom. From artisans around the country, there are options for every budget and style. Here, you’ll find gems, designs and beads that aren’t available in brick and mortar stores or online.
This is one of the biggest shows in the gems, jewelry and minerals industry anywhere in the world. Jewelbrite will be offering free jewelry cleaning, and military members get complimentary admission. Start off your Labor Day weekend with a sparkle, and head to the show Friday, September 2 from noon to 6 p.m.
Treasure Hunt
Tickets are just six dollars at the door, and attendees need to be at least eight years old. This innovative show has been open to the public since 1967 (previously, it was an industry-only event). There will also be workshops on beading, and all of the vendors are competing for your business—which means you’ll find the best gems at the lowest prices.
Shop early for holiday gifts. Most vendors accept a variety of payments, but come early! Sell-outs do happen, and you want to make sure you see all the glitz and glamour this show has to offer.
