Muzeo Museum and Cultural Center

Disneyland Hotel Meat

At the Muzeo Museum and Cultural Center, which hosts everything from special events to permanent exhibits, there’s always something exciting to discover. Located at 241 S. Anaheim Boulevard, Muzeo is in the heart of Orange County and highlights the culture, heritage and arts via explorative programming. Three ticketed temporary exhibits are featured each year in the Main Gallery, while Carnegie Gallery is always free and brimming with permanent exhibits.

Open Tuesday – Sunday from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m., the historic 1908 Carnegie Gallery is a work of art in itself. Formerly a local library before turning into a museum in the 80s, it’s a landmark of Anaheim architecture. Carnegie Plaza and Courtyard is a popular venue for special events, and the Main Gallery is comprised of a lavish 25,000 square foot contemporary space with cutting edge A/V technology.

A Day at the Museum

Special events in August include the Young Hoon Kim Asian Calligraphy exhibit in the upper Carnegie as well as the Yeda Crops of Love in the lower Carnegie. For any ticketed events that complement these features, plan to arrive 30 – 40 minutes in advance. Fine art classes are available Tuesdays and Thursdays for those ages 14 – 21 from 4 – 6 p.m.

Enjoy the thriving arts and culture scene in gorgeous Anaheim, and slip away to the courtyard for a breezy outdoor dining experience. It’s the perfect destination for a date, solo activity or family-friendly fun.
