It is time for Newport’s Annual Boat Parade this holiday season. If you haven’t had a chance to enjoy this delightful holiday tradition, we invite you to grab a friend or family member and head out to Bay Island Channel for Deck the Hulls With Bows of Jolly. The fun lasts through the 21st so you have several nights to join in the fun.
This annual tradition is a favorite among locals and many look forward to it all year. Parading along the coast line of the inlet as well as Balboa Island and Lido Isle, there are plenty of spots for you to get a good seat. The parade begins at 6:30 pm and lasts all the way to 9:00 pm. It is the highlight of the season and residents come from all over to get a glimpse at the magical show so expect a crowd. Bring some Christmas music, a blanket and some warm apple cider and kick back to boats of all shapes and sizes lit up in holiday cheer.
The parade route is located on the Newport Beach Christmas Boat Parade website. You are encouraged to bring your own lawn chair or other seating to get comfortable as you enjoy the festivities. This is the event of the season. Don’t miss out!
