These gorgeous 28.5 acres were established as a park in 1952. Located at 3120 Lakeview Drive, it’s the perfect “city getaway” for joggers, hikers, bicyclists, equestrians, birders and fishermen. Pack a picnic basket and dine al fresco in the shade at one of the picnic tables, or take a short stroll to the dam or around the lake for a truly unique experience. You’ll find catfish, bluegills, rainbow trout and bass when fishing, depending on the season.
Home to the Equestrian Center, you’ll often see horseback riders taking to the horse-only trails and if you’d like to ride, guides and rentals are available. Tour the center and see the grandstands, riding and show rings. No matter what kind of nature lover you are, Laguna Lake Park is a dreamy destination for all.
The Big One
A favorite spot for fishing, the lake is managed by the state’s Department of Fish and Game. A fishing license is required for anyone over the age of 16, and you can count on a well-stocked lake year round.
