The most magical place on earth becomes even more magical during the holiday season. The season runs November 10 – January 8, giving you plenty of time to explore the park, special events, and surrounding festivals. The Festival of Holidays is a food bazaar and taster event with wine pairings (and sparkling cider pairings for the kids). Don’t miss the World of Color – Season of Light, which lights up the park in a new and wondrous way.
Christmas decorations cover the park, with thousands of lights creating a glowing wonderland. Garlands have been added to Main Street this year, and even more lights decorate the castle, making this the most festive Disney Christmas bonanza yet.
Light It Up
Somehow, Disney has outdone itself and replaced the famous Believe … in Holiday Magic fireworks show with the stunning Disneyland Forever show. A new gingerbread addition joins the fun, and you’ll find your favorite characters in the park with their uber-festive gear.
Make sure to visit each of the park’s restaurants for special, seasonal treats like eggnog, Christmas pudding, Christmas cookies and more. Help put out treats for Santa and his reindeer, and don’t forget to tackle seasonally-decorated rides.
When Christmas is at Disneyland, you can bet it will be one of the best holidays yet!
