Over the next few weeks we’ll be introducing you to some of our policing efforts throughout Anaheim. Our city is diverse and community members’ concerns vary by neighborhood. This week we’d like to introduce you to our Tourist Oriented Policing, or TOP detail. This team works in the resort district to liaison with the visitors of Anaheim and our local business partners. Our TOP Detectives vary their working hours and since the weather is finally nice, they’ll be spending some time on bike’s again, riding in the area. Although the area hotels, restaurants and businesses are not currently serving guests, they’re far from deserted. They still have employees and security onsite 24/7 to deter crime. Our TOP Detectives are working with these business owners to help make sure they aren’t future victims of crimes. Keep an eye on our social media to see how we’re working with our community in another part of town, in the next few days. Also, watch out for our virtual Coffee-with-a-Cop events, streaming live on Facebook and Instagram were you can interact with our officers and get answers to your police related questions. You can submit your questions early to [email protected] #anaheimpd #ThisIsAnaheim #WeAreHereForYou
